Shipping Policy

Durham Building Supplies Ltd equipped with full fleets of trucks in our yard to satisfy our customer’s delivery needs. Our professional trained drivers will make sure that all your materials are handled with care and deliver them safely. We typically ship within 48 hours of receipt of your order, but delays can sometimes occur. If there are any delays due to stock issues or any other unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you by email as soon as possible. Please note we do not ship on weekend or statutory holidays. Durham Building Supplies Ltd is not responsible for delays in delivery that may occur because of poor weather conditions, traffic, or other unforeseen incidents.
Shipping orders are shipped directly to the shipping address given by the customers and printed on our receipt, and we will not ship to any P.O Box addresses.
If your shipment is getting delivered to a remote area, your shipping time may be longer.
Once you place the order, your order confirmation will be sent to your email .
If you place an order for store pick-up, you will receive a notification when the order is ready for pickup. We recommend that you pick up your orders within 7 days of the date your order is ready for pickup. If this is not possible, we kindly ask you to call our store and inform us about the delay in picking your order and also confirm a date for pickup. If you are unable to pick up the goods within 10 days of your pickup order confirmation, your transaction will be refunded.
When you are picking up your order from customer service, our representative will require your order confirmation number and your government photo ID. For your protection, we only release the goods to the person who placed the order, and in certain instances, we release the goods to someone from the same households with a government photo ID proof.
You will be required to sign an acknowledgment when you pick up the order. When you place an order for delivery, we will deliver the goods to the designated delivery address but it’s your responsibility to have an authorized person available at the delivery site to sign the acknowledgment of the shipment. Please inspect your order and contact us within 24 hours time frame from the delivery date if your merchandise is damaged or incorrect.
We will only deliver our goods in an open space in your property (in front of your property/driveway). Please make sure the area is clean and spacious for our truck and forklift to work around. Once the goods are out for shipping, we will not return the shipping charges even if the customer cancels the order. Our drivers will do their best to deliver the goods at your confirmed shipping address, but if space is not enough to deliver the goods in a safe condition and unable to deliver in a safe manner, our driver will return the goods back to our store and shipping charges will be not be refunded and additional shipping charges will be applied for re-shipment.
After delivering the goods to your designated address on the receipt, and if you decide to return any goods for any reason, it’s your responsibility to bring your goods back to our store and Durham Building Supplies Ltd will not pick up any goods from the delivered address.

Inside Delivery:

Merchandise can be delivered inside the house upon request with extra charges. In order for us to deliver the goods inside, please consider the following things:
  • Durham requires reasonable size windows/large enough staircase/walkout to accommodate our larger size drywall/lumber to be brought inside the property without causing any damages to the customer’s property/assets.
  • If for any reason, the materials can’t be delivered inside the property, our driver will do their best to leave it on the driveway/spacious place in the property and will inform the customer about the changes. Please inform the customer service representative if you want to cancel the order at this point, there will be a charge of $350 for service charges.
  • It's the customer's responsibility to keep the driveway and surrounding area clean and spacious for our personnel to work safely.
  • Our delivery team will have their safety boots on all time and it’s the customer’s responsibility to cover the floor for your protection and we will not be responsible for any damages.
